Steps to apply to the Nursing program
Complete all steps to apply to the Nursing program at Jamestown Community College.
Before you start the application
Before you begin your application, watch the recorded information session, or attend a Zoom session.
The Zoom information sessions last approximately 30 minutes, and just like the recorded session, will cover the key aspects of the requirements for the Nursing program. Attending the Zoom session will give participants an opportunity to ask clarifying questions.
Preregistration is not required. Select the link to join the meeting:
1. Apply to JCC
Complete the general admission application process to JCC. If you are a current JCC student, skip to step 2.
- All official transcripts, high school equivalency diplomas/scores, college and/or military transcripts must be submitted to the Admissions office to process your application.
- All nursing applicants will be initially accepted as Individual Studies majors as a nursing candidate.
2. Review eligibility for program
Review Nursing program eligibility requirements.
3. Complete the TEAS exam
If all eligibility requirements are met, complete the TEAS exam and have scores submitted to JCC. Scores will be reviewed regularly starting in December and will continue to be reviewed until the program is full.
4. Apply to the Nursing program
Readmission: If you are seeking readmission to the nursing program (for semesters 1520, 2510, or 2520), complete the Nursing Readmission Application.
Applications completed by December 1, including the submission of all required supplemental documents, may be considered for early acceptance by the review committee. This decision will be based on your eligibility at the time of application and your academic performance. All other applications will be considered for acceptance beginning on February 3 and will continue to be reviewed until the program is full. Decision letters will be sent via email. You can also check the status of your application by logging in to your account. Decisions will not be given over the phone.
